Join USC Alpha Phi for our favorite phi-lanthropy event, the Red Dress Gala, held on the
Friday night of Trojan Family Weekend (held in September or October). This elegant evening invites families,
friends, and alumnae to enjoy delicious food, drinks, and dancing at a local LA venue—all in support of women’s heart health.

Activities: Live and silent auctions featuring items donated by Alpha Phi families

Purpose:
The Red Dress Gala is our largest philanthropic event, dedicated to raising funds and
awareness for women’s heart health. Proceeds from the evening support the Alpha Phi Foundation.
Tickets will be available for purchase prior to the event, sent by email. Join us for a night of fun and purpose.
SENIOR Brunch/Lunch
Alpha Phi Seniors will be presented with their Alumnae Pin and Senior Gift during the senior luncheon
held each May. Senior families will receive an invitation and are encouraged to join this special
occasion, marking the last formal Alpha Phi event with their daughters. The luncheon will feature speakers and
photo opportunities, making it a memorable and sentimental experience.
TROJAN FAMILY WEEKEND
The Alpha Phi Parents Club hosts a Saturday brunch or afternoon open house during Trojan Family
Weekend (held in September or October) at the Alpha Phi House for families leading up to the game.
This event is designed for families to gather and make connections before the game.
Families are invited to tour the Alpha Phi house and socialize with other ΑΦ families. Take a break
from the pre-game events on fraternity row and stop by the Alpha Phi house for drinks and snacks.

PRESENTS
This special event occurs every March, when the Alpha Phi Chapter welcomes new members as they transition into active status and officially introduces them as active members of Alpha Phi. Our Parent's Club sponsors this event and provides a photographer, bouquets and florals for this event.
Families of the girls being presented are invited and encouraged to attend. The newly initiated members will wear long white formal gowns and will be introduced to Alpha Phi parents and alumnae by their big sisters.
Recruitment
The members of Alpha Phi dedicate countless hours to organize a successful recruitment event
each year in January, featuring new themes to create a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. The Parents' Club
generously sponsors this event by checking in to see how we can offer helping hands to ensure an unforgettable
experience for both current members and potential new sisters.
Our recruitment events are inspired by love and creativity. Every detail, from decorations to
activities is designed to foster connections and showcase the values we uphold in our chapter.
We are committed to providing a supportive environment where our new members can thrive
both personally and academically. As we move forward, we encourage all members to welcome
new faces in the Alpha Phi chapter and to continue building the bonds that make our community
so special.

Running a chapter facility that welcomes more than 100 women each week takes a steady, dedicated leader. Our House Director is at the center of everything. She manages the daily operations of the house, coordinating the work of our security guards, chef, and housekeeping staff to keep Alpha Phi safe, welcoming, and running smoothly every single day for our young women throughout the year. As we head into Winter Break each year, we recognize the person who keeps our chapter running smoothly. The holiday bonus is given to our House Director as a thank-you for their commitment to Alpha Phi. We are grateful for your support that allows us to honor this essential work.
